Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art Seeking More Volunteers

Innovation and change are hallmarks of the art world, and that’s also true at the Nelson-Atkins! As the Museum seeks new ways to attract and engage visitors and facilitate meaningful and memorable interactions with art, we are excited to offer new volunteer opportunities to help achieve these important goals:

· Museum Guides will provide a welcoming presence in the galleries through the facilitation of a variety of engaging, informal learning experiences revolving around art, such as tours, casual conversations, and hands-on activities.
· Visitor Research Volunteers will help the Museum connect with visitors and make art more relevant in people’s lives through data collection and observational studies in gallery spaces.
Interviews will take place November 28 through December 11.
If you’ve thought about volunteering at the Museum, this is an exciting time to get involved. For an application and information about these or other volunteer roles, visit the Volunteer section of the Museum’s website at support/Volunteer.cfm
